
SANDPOINT, Idaho — There was a large police presence in Sandpoint on Friday as a response to a report of a domestic violence incident.
The Spokane Police Department says children were in the company of a suspect who had threatened to shoot them.
Law enforcement initially believed the suspect was in Northeast Spokane, but was later told he was in Sandpoint.
The suspect was detained without incident and the children are safe.
No further information is currently available and the investigation is ongoing.
