
The Creek at Qualchan and Esmeralda golf courses will be opening after a long winter season.
SPOKANE, Wash. — Two golf courses, The Creek at Qualchan and Esmeralda Golf Course, are opening in the Spokane area for the season.
The Creek at Qualchan Golf Course opened its course today, the first city course to open this season.
The golf course is the newest in the Spokane area. The Creek at Qualchan Golf Course plays to par 72 and is 6,599 yards. It offers guests a natural setting, with a meandering creek and well-protected greens.
According to a Facebook post by the Creek at Qualchan Golf Course, golf games start at 10 a.m.
Esmeralda Golf Course also announced the opening of its course and practice greens next week on Wednesday, March 16.
The golf course will open after a long and cold winter. Warm temperatures are expected for next week, which would mark the spring opening season of the golf course.
According to a Facebook post by the Esmeralda Golf Course, the driving range will open on Wednesday. It will remain open daily from 10 a.m to 5 p.m., depending on the day-to-day weather conditions.
The Esmeralda Golf Course was built in 1956. It offers open space and flat fairways lined with more than 2,000 trees. This combination of attributes makes the superbly maintained course an easy one to break 100 on and tough to break par. The golf course plays to par 70 and is 6,331 yards. It’s for all levels of golfing skills, according to the Spokane city website.
The Esmeralda Course Golf is located at 3933 E. Courtland Ave. in Spokane and will be opening from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
