Mother, daughter arrested for murder in Lewiston

LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewiston Police arrested a mother and daughter in Lewiston for first-degree murder on Tuesday.

Police arrested 81-year-old Kay Morrison and her daughter, 54-year-old Kimberly Morrison for the murder of Kenneth Morrison, who was Kimberly’s father and Kay’s ex-husband.

The two were arrested after detectives searched the Morrison’s home on Harvest Road near Panorama Drive.

Detectives investigated Kimberly and Kay Morrison after Kenneth was reported missing in March 2022. The investigation uncovered that Kenneth had not been seen since January 2022.

Lewiston Detectives interviewed Kay and Kimberly after searching their home and took them into custody for the murder of Kenneth on January 6, 2022.

An FBI Evidence Recovery Team, Idaho State Police Detectives, and the Quad Cities Drug Task Force assisted in the ongoing investigation.
